Our Story

Discovery Health began in a single room of a heritage home on Discovery Street in Victoria, BC. Founder Stephanie Brisebois, RMT, envisioned a space where healing could feel both grounded and uplifting. What started small has grown into a vibrant collective of practitioners offering massage therapy, acupuncture, osteopathy, and holistic oferings—working together to support whole-person wellbeing.
The name “Discovery” is more than a nod to our first location—it reflects our philosophy. We see wellness as an ongoing journey, guided by curiosity, connection, and care. At Discovery Health, both clients and practitioners are supported to thrive—finding balance, ease, and meaningful support along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions
We are located in the Douglas Center on the corner of Douglas and Burnside. In the same complex as Lifestyles Market and the best ramen in town: Ramen Arashi. There are stairs and an elevator with the entrance doors accessible from the Burnside ground level between the Notary Public.
If you are coming on transit, there are plenty of buses that drop you off right outside the complex.
There is plenty of free parking in the complex and places to lock your bike.It sure is! There are plenty of parking stalls for persons with disabilities and an elevator to get you to our second floor location.
We are a receptionless clinic which means we lock the door while we are in treatment. If you have an appointment and the door is locked when you arrive, our practitioners are most likely with clients. Be assured that the door will be open no later than 5 minutes before your appointment.
We absolutely do! Feel free to contact your individual practitioner to confirm if they bill for your specific program.
At this time we do not direct bill for these programs.
We understand that life can get busy. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, you can do it easily through the JaneApp booking page. If you can't make it, consider offering your spot to a friend or family member—it’s a thoughtful way to share your session. Please also email your practitioner to let them know. Keep in mind that late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged the full appointment fee.
